The G.A.L.S. ministry began in Zambia, Africa during a mission trip in the summer of 2014. It is our mission to refresh, entertain, inspire, encourage, and lead others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ by sharing stories of God’s amazing love. We are excited to see what the Lord has in store for this exciting ministry. We believe the truth found in Lamentations 3:22-23: “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Great Faithfulness

We believe: "Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23. Each person in our group comes from a place of brokenness, but we can ALL say, the Lord is enough for our joy to be complete. We must decrease; He must increase.

The G.A.L.S. vision is to share God’s amazing stories wherever He leads them. No event is too large or too small. Performances include original scripts, music, drama, testimonies, comedy, costumes, dance, and props in Scripture-based presentations which revolve around ways God loves us. Numerous programs are available and can be specifically created for your group or for the needs of your ministry.

What’s New

We have had a very busy year and have currently completed several projects: Eternal Promises: A Bible Study from Psalms, Powerful Promises: An Illustrated Devotional, Rockin’ with Joy: A Bible Study from Philippians, God’s Jewels Bible Study and Leader Guide, video blogs, and we are adding more media to our programs. Please check back to see what God is doing in our ministry. We know He has AMAZING things planned! GALS are currently hosting “Sharing Joy through the Holidays” Brunches at CROSS CHURCH NRH.

OUR BEGINNING

The G.A.L.S., God’s Amazing Love Storytellers, ministry began in Zambia, Africa when Sharon Booker and Carolyn Hedgecock were on a mission trip with Evangelism Partners International in June 2014. During the mission trip, the men were scheduled to help build a church in the afternoons, and Sharon wanted something more suited for the women to do while the men were working. After spending many hours in prayer, Sharon and Carolyn sensed the Lord telling them to share about God’s amazing love with women and children in the community. Due to limited resources and suitcase space, they decided to use storytelling as their vehicle because that was also what Jesus did. When they put all the words together, they realized they had an acronym that spelled G.A.L.S.

Once home, the desire to bring God’s Word alive through drama grew in both Carolyn and Sharon’s hearts. One by one, the Lord connected storytellers through a series of events. Each cast member has unique stories and comes from backgrounds in:
