Carolyn Hedgecock is an author, former teacher, script writer, and speaker. Passionate about sharing first-hand experiences of God’s amazing love, she and Sharon Booker founded the G.A.L.S. after a mission trip to Zambia. Twice selected as Who’s Who Among American Teachers, she also received Outstanding Teacher of the Humanities Award for the state of Texas. Married to her college sweetheart, Joe, she is the mother of a pastor, attorney, and a redeemed prodigal. Sharon Booker, a former educator, partners with her husband, John, in the ministry of Evangelism Partners International (E.P.I.). Established in 2010 as a 501(C)(3), E.P.I. began in Zambia, Africa. As of 2020, the E.P.I. work is expanding rapidly. Sharon is the co-founder of God’s Amazing Love Storytellers and serves as a mentor for a Good News Club in the Greater Fort Worth Area. Marilyn Phillips, a former elementary teacher and reading specialist, has twenty-five published books and is a contributor to five different Chicken Soup for the Soul books. She has eight book contributions and nine magazine articles published. Marilyn has been married to Nolan since 1972. They have two amazing children, Rebekah and Bryant, and a talented daughter-in-law, Rachel. Marilyn is a breast cancer survivor and praises God for the journey to understand that God is greater than any battle … even cancer. GALS presents opportunities to share about God’s Amazing Love. Linda Patterson, a former public school music teacher of 30 years, has taught private lessons on guitar and piano/keyboard. Linda has written and directed numerous musicals for school and church. She graduated summa cum laude from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Music. And … I Love You is her CD featuring spoken healing Scriptures and original songs. The supporting musicians and singers are her family. She has three daughters and seven grandchildren–all musical and artists. Linda is the praise dancer and music leader for G.A.L.S. Tamara Roberts, an author, speaker, and founder of Bring Your Own Tiara™ is dedicated to encouraging, equipping, and empowering people. Over 250 of her articles have been published in periodicals and books including Chicken Soup for the Soul. She authored the novels, Chronicles of a Warrior Princess and Who Me? A Mighty Woman of Valor? A nurse by education, Tamara is a wife, mother of three, grandmother of eight, and a daughter of the King of kings.
